In addition, the RescueMe EDF1 has an S.O.S. signal mode in which the Morse code S-O-S is automatically radiated. Unlike single-use traditional emergency flares, the EDF1 flare can be used repeatedly, making it a durable and cost-effective choice for long-term outdoor adventures. The battery retains its capacity for 10 years, so that the EDF1 is always ready for use and still has full brightness and operating time even after years. After those 10 years, or if you have used the EDF1 in an emergency situation, you can purchase a new battery unit via Safe Outdoor Shop that you can easily replace yourself. There are no worries about removing old emergency fireworks. After use or after 10 years, you can return the old battery via the KCA or at Safe Outdoor Shop.
